 Accessibility and your Website:

We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone and we are committed to providing a website that is as accessible as we can reasonably make it, given the original design remit provided by you, and the infrastructure that's unique to your web environment, for the broadest possible audience.

It is our policy when developing a new site to adhere closely to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level and to this end we try to deploy a standard approach to the key areas such as color use, naming of elements (pictures, headers buttons etc) and naming links along with providing an ability for feedback to help us improve.

At launch we will provide you with an accessibility audit that shows you the current score for your website.  We are happy to consult with you on how to improve this score although some elements effecting it may be beyond our ability to fix (like your use of 3rd party Online ordering platforms).

If you have chosen to purchase the additional AccessiBe widget then an extra layer of accessibility has been guaranteed as well as ongoing and proactive monitoring. If you have not chosen to add AccessiBe then we would encourage you to consider it and we will be happy to provide you the paperwork to do so - just send a request to sales@spillover.com and we will contact you.

Over time as you add more content to your website you may find that your audit score for accessibility will drop.  We therefore encourage you to be vigilant on this and suggest three options for you to keep yourself up to date.
1. Run your own audit tests on a regular basis and try to adopt the W3C guidelines when making any changes to your website.  Please contact support@spillover.com if you would like guidance on tools you can use to run Accessibility checks.
2. Have Spillover run a Bi-Annual audit of your site and correct any issues found - this is a Managed Service offering (code ADA Audit) that can be purchased form sales@spillover.com and currently costs $25 per month (price valid August 2025. Price subject to change.)
3. Add the AccessiBe widget to your site for live monitoring and the accessible uplift features.  This currently costs $55 per month and may be purchased through Spillover. (price valid August 2025. Price subject to change).

We have added an Accessibility Policy statement to your Website that is located in the footer.  This provides a pop-up statement along with a link that allows your end customers to notify us if they identify an accessibility issue with the Website.  This form automatically creates a support ticket at our support desk and we will then notify you of the issue, any remedial action that has been taken or we will discuss what action you wish us to take.

Disclaimer:
Despite our reasonable efforts, and because we allow you to make updates to your website content, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. We are continually improving our accessibility approach to website design, adding, updating, improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies but we cannot be held liable if a website is found to have areas of inaccessibility or if 3rd party connections or end user changes have made it less accessible than required.  We strongly recommend that each of our Customers add the AccessiBe widget to our websites as this ensures the highest likelihood of compliance and comes with some litigation support in the event of a legal issue arising around ADA compliance.

If you, or a customer of yours finds an accessibility issue with your website then please contact us through the accessibility statement link and form at the bottom of your home page or simply email us with the title of email being 'ADA Issue" at support@spillover.com and we will treat the request as most urgent.
